Sisters in Spirit
Honoring the spirit of sisterhood, this bronze, and its trans-pacific twin celebrates the fellowship between Minimisoma, Japan, and Pendleton, Oregon. The cities are linked by their shared passion for horses, and the statues were designed to express this sentiment. The regular exchange of students to each city provides opportunities to gain perspective, friendship, and cultural education.

Walk south on Main St back across the bridge. Turn right on SW Beyers Ave. Continue a half a block until the River Walk pathway starts. Continue along the River Walk path about 4 blocks until you reach Courting Blue Herons.
